Garrett Mitchell, also known as Cleetus McFarland on YouTube, is gearing up to make his debut in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts (NOAPS) at the challenging Rockingham oval. Behind the wheel of the #33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, a team with a rich history and recent NOAPS driver champions, Cleetus is poised to hit the track. This three-race deal for 2026 and 2027 may include iconic tracks like Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.
Partnered with Tommy’s Express, Cleetus will join forces with teammates Jesse Love and Austin Hill, who currently hold the top positions in the championship standings. Expressing his gratitude and excitement, Cleetus commented, “To have the opportunity to make my NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series debut with a legendary race team like Richard Childress Racing is a dream come true.”
With nearly five million subscribers on his YouTube channel, Cleetus McFarland is no stranger to the spotlight. Transitioning into professional stock car racing, he made his mark in the ARCA series last year, with notable finishes at Talladega and Charlotte. Despite a crash in his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut, Cleetus remains determined to leave his mark on the racing world.
The North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham, scheduled for April 4 during Easter Weekend, is where fans can witness Cleetus McFarland take on the challenging oval. This exciting opportunity comes after Kasey Kahne drove the #33 entry at Rockingham last year.
