Eventually, Hill emerged victorious in this stage, closely followed by Mayer. The third stage witnessed aggressive racing and multiple restarts, with Caruth leading the way until Allgaier took over with 90 laps remaining. Despite numerous caution flags and spins, Allgaier held onto his lead and emerged victorious after a dramatic conclusion to the race. The race ended under caution after Rajah Caruth spun on the final lap, securing Allgaier’s well-deserved win at Martinsville.
